The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) today announced the finalists in the 2016 CBAA Community Radio Awards, a national awards program recognising excellence in community broadcasting.
On Sunday 15 June 2014 from 11.00am, 2MFM - Muslim Community Radio will be opening its doors to their community to give you a look into this active and vibrant station that gives a voice to both the young and old.
As always, community broadcasters featured strongly in the Governor General's Australia Day Honours List, in addition to various other local community awards announced as part of Australia Day celebrations.
On Sunday evening the 11th of November a spectacular event took place at the Fonta Di Trevi in Bankstown- the hub of multicultural Australia, as 2MFM, Muslim Community Radio 92.1fm, held their Annual Corporate Dinner with the theme: Access and More.
On Tuesday, May 24th, Sydney eight city wide community radio stations launched digital radio services, providing Sydney with more choice and new ways to listen to the city's most diverse and accessible media.
