A united coalition of more than 100 of the nation’s top charities and not-for-profits are warning the Morrison Government that the eyes of the nation will be watching them this week as the Senate considers disallowing a damaging anti-charity regulation. From Monday, the Senate will vote to disallow the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Amendment (2021 Measures No. 2) Regulations 2021, which blatantly attacks the free speech of charities.

CTV+ launches as a website, available now via ctvplus.org.au, and has both Android and iOS versions in development for future release in early 2022. The service will enable viewers to watch both stations’ live linear broadcast feeds as well as being able to catch up on over 20 locally produced community TV programs, with plans to double its content offering over the next six months

The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) and RPH Australia (RPHA) announced their agreement to work collaboratively has been extended for another three years to 30 June 2024 to benefit the Radio Reading Network. Under the agreement extension, CBAA and RPHA will continue to be co-managed by Jon Bisset, the CBAA CEO, but will remain governed by two separate boards of directors. This will preserve the uniqueness of the Network’s programs and services
