Allie Hanly MAIN FM

Allie is a visual artist who began in radio in 2013 at MAINfm in Castlemaine, Central Victoria. She co-hosted a weekly arts interview show, Art Swank, for three years. In that time she started to get more and more involved in this completely non-visual medium. In 2014 she produced a special series about family violence and anchored MAINfm’s breakfast show for a year. In 2015 she took on the role of Content Producer and has held this position since. In this time she has helped transform it into a community engagement role. In 2016 she and local Elder Rick Nelson were finalists with Reconciliation Victoria for their series Dja Dja Wurrung Radio. Also in 2016 she helped her station apply for several of the CBAA awards. Allie went to the 2016 CBAA conference on a scholarship and MAINfm were very fortunate to win the Most Outstanding Small Station award.

This webinar was held at 6:30 pm AEDT Wednesday, 29 March.
