The Community Broadcasting Association is pleased to share with you the content we’ve developed for our WA suicide prevention project Helping Voices, Helping Hands.

This project focuses on increasing awareness of suicide prevention services available to people throughout Western Australia.

Over the past few months, we’ve been co-designing content for and with four important audience groups:

·           Aboriginal Peoples

·           Children and young people

·           People who identify as LGBTQIA+

·           People from ethnoculturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

We’ve worked with representatives of each of these communities in a range of locations around WA to develop six Community Service Announcements for each audience group.

We hope you will share these CSAs with your local audience to help to raise awareness of suicide prevention and mental health services and to encourage help-seeking and early access to support.

For more information on this project, please contact the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia on (02) 9310 2999, or email: [email protected]

Funding provided by the WA Mental Health Commission and administered by Suicide Prevention Australia
