The Community Broadcasting Association is pleased to welcome you to the November 2025 content of our national suicide prevention and mental health awareness project, developed with the support of the Australian Government
Department of Health.

Each month, our project team develops a series of 20 short radio segments designed to promote help-seeking behaviour and positive lifestyle choices, using interviews with service providers, as well as profiles of people who have successfully dealt with tough times in their lives.

This month, we look at some data from Beyond Blue’s Australia’s Mental Healthand Wellbeing Check 2024 which reveals a decline in Australians’ sense of community, and find out what we can all do to become more connected.

We encourage new and expecting parents to reach out for the help they need, when they need it, and to get involved with or find out more about Perinatal Mental Health Week.

We find out more about the current state of workplace mental health and what employers and employees can do to help prevent workplace burnout

We learn about the Embrace Project’s Framework for Mental Health in Multicultural Australia, an online resource which supports mental health services to work effectively in a multicultural context.

And we hear how headspace Work & Study helps thousands of young people in Australia each year to reach their work or study goals through free tailored 1-on-1 support, helpful articles, and group chats.
