Complaints Policy Example


As community broadcasters it is our responsibility to abide by a number of legislative requirements in programming content and station operations.

To this end, the Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice - Appendix provide practical information to assist community broadcasters.

The purpose of the Complaints Policy Example is to assist stations compliance with the Broadcasting Services Act and the Codes Of Practice. This is an example of a policy that could be used to meet the requirements of Code 7, which outlines our legal requirements as community broadcasters relating to complaint handling.

Appendices attached to the Codes are for guidance only and do not form part of the Codes.
