Vision Australia is inviting community radio stations to help spread the word about their Accessible Format Personal Support Service through this community service announcement (CSA).
This free service makes it easier for Australians who are blind or have low vision to access the content they love. Vision Australia Library members can have up to 360 print pages converted each financial year into a format that suits them best — including braille, audio, large print, tactile graphics or e-text. This could be anything from knitting patterns to tactile photos or books not already in the library.
By airing this CSA, your station can help make sure more people know about this valuable support, improving access to recreation and home life resources for Australians who are blind or have low vision.
