Find a Station
The Community Broadcasting Association is pleased to welcome you to the April 2025 content of our national suicide prevention and mental health awareness project, developed with the support of the Australian Government Department of Health.
Each month, our project team develops a series of 20 short radio segments designed to promote help-seeking behaviour and positive lifestyle choices, using interviews with service providers, as well as profiles of people who have successfully dealt with tough times in their lives.
This month, we get some tips for young people for having difficult or stressful conversations about politics.
We learn about the NewAccess for Small Business Owners program, which provides free mental health coaching for small business owners or sole traders.
We learn about the importance of new and expecting parents with ADHD having access to neuro-affirming mental health support.
We learn about a new campaign called Can We Talk? which aims to equip more Australians with the skills they need to open up conversations about their mental health.
And we explore some free or low cost options for mental health support for young people.
