Woodford Folk Festival national broadcasts
4ZZZ, 4EB and Noosa FM are collaborating on this year's national Woodford Folk Festival broadcast.
Three community radio stations combine to bring the 2014/15 Woodford Folk Festival to you, live across the Community Radio Network (CRN).
This year, ten folk-happy volunteers from three of south-east Queensland’s community broadcasters will unite to help share the very best of what the festival has to offer with listeners across Australia.
Broadcasting across the Community Radio Network on December 30 and 31, the OB team will present three hour-long broadcasts, capturing the essence of the festival through live performances and interviews with performers and punters alike. The broadcasts will be available to community stations through the Community Radio Network satellite service.
Broadcast times
Tue 30/12: 15:04 to 16:00 EDT
Wed 31/12: 14:04 to 15:00 EDT
Wed 31/12: 15:04 to 16:00 EDT
Recorded files will capture to DDN computers through Extras 1, titled "Woodford pt1" etc.
The Woodford Folk Festival is one of Australia’s most iconic and longest running festivals. Every summer from December 27 to January 1, tens of thousands of people of all ages make their annual pilgrimage to ‘Woodfordia’ (one-hour north of Brisbane, Queensland) to immerse themselves in a week-long celebration of music, art, culture, community and ceremony.
Keep up to date with the gang throughout the festival.
