WEBINAR: Good Governance - How Healthy is your Station? - 28 August 2019
Good governance is the framework of rules, systems and processes put in place to guide an organisation. It is essential for a healthy organisation that is effectively fulfilling their purpose to observe these principles. But how best to monitor our governance practices as community broadcasters?
Developed by QLBS, the Community Radio Station Health Check is an easy-to-use, free online self-assessment tool that allows you to see how well your station’s processes, activities and relationships align with best governance practices and how you can improve.
Over the last year, nearly 100 community broadcasters have conducted governance analysis on their organisations using the Community Radio Station Health Check, generating a summary report and action plan. If you're one of the stations who has taken advantage of the Health Check, we invite you to join us for this webinar as we:
- Examine the health of your station
- Get an overview of the industry
- Look at straightforward solutions for areas of improvement identified by the Health Check
Haven't done the Health Check yet? Feel free to join us, so that when your station does have the opportunity to take advantage of this valuable tool, you'll be able to act on your findings right away.
