Finding skilled volunteers for your community radio station can be a challenge, especially if you’re in a regional area or you struggle to bring younger people in through the door. This webinar will teach you practical skills you can use in the recruiting and training processes, as well as for once they join your team. You’ll also learn tips to ensure they stick around.

You’ll learn:
  • Tips for recruiting, on-boarding and training new volunteers
  • Documenting your station’s personnel needs and developing suitable tasks and processes
  • Where to build community connections to help you find volunteers both young and old
  • How to keep skilled volunteers
Who’s this webinar for?

Managers, boards, volunteer coordinators.

Presented by Christie Mann

Christie Mann has been working in corporate communications and marketing for eight years and landed in the media arena in 2015 - almost as a radio newsreader. Christie is the Communications Manager for 96five in Brisbane and has built a robust and effective internship/volunteer program that has seen great successes across the business. When she’s not at work she’s walking her black lab, George and scheming her next holiday and building the case for it to present to her husband, Jesse.

This webinar was held at 6:30pm (AEST) Wednesday, 29 August 2018
