Are you passionate about community media? 

The Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) is a non-profit funding agency that distributes funding to support community radio and broadcasting in Australia.

Each year the CBF grants more than $16.8 million to help 220 community media organisations communicate, connect and share knowledge through independent radio, television and digital media. Grants are allocated twice per year, with the majority of funding allocated in the first round.

The CBF are seeking volunteers to join their Board and Grants Advisory Committees in mid-2019. 

Support community media and volunteer alongside people who share a passion for making a difference!

The Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) Board recently appointed David Melzer as Vice-President of the Foundation. David has been involved in broadcasting for more than 20 years - as a volunteer, broadcaster, trainer, manager, board member and consultant in the community broadcasting sector and with the ABC. He has worked as a station manager at remote, regional and metropolitan stations serving general, ethnic, Indigenous and specialist music community interests.
