The Reclink Community Cup is an annual charity football match held between the Triple R/PBS FM Megahertz and the Rockdogs, comprised of Melbourne's rock royalty. The event is a charity fundraiser for Reclink Australia, a non profit organisation whose mission is to provide and promote sport and art programs for people experiencing disadvantage.

Over $100,000 was raised to to help Reclink Australia deliver sports and arts programs to assist disadvantaged folks nationwide. Excellent June weather helped draw the biggest crowd in the event’s history, with official attendance at well over 10,000.

With the quailty of football described as 'passionate but skills-challenged', it's safe to say that entertainment was the winner of the day.

Kicking off the days’ music was Elmo & Friends Live with many children enjoying their performance as well as the other family-friendly activities on site at the KidZone. David Bridie was joined by a small choir to pay homage to iconic musician Lou Reed’s passing in 2013. Soul pop extravaganza Saskwatch performed for the half time show with 80's legends Painters And Dockers tearing through a blistering live set as part of the post match celebrations.

Congratulations to the Rockdogs. The Megahertz have vowed to return bigger and better in 2015.
