POSITION: All Rounder, Bourke NSW

Outback Radio 2WEB has a position vacant for an All Rounder. You’ll be required to present programs and voice track as required, assist in production and help with the training of students, junior staff and volunteers. Experience or an interest in news and journalism a bonus.

This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $60,000 per annum, four weeks annual leave, superannuation, and other benefits (which may include assistance in moving to Bourke and/or accommodation) for the qualified applicant.

Please only contact us if interested in relocating to Bourke. This is not a “work from home” position. Bourke offers a wonderful country lifestyle with many clubs and sporting facilities available.

At the time the paper was threatened with closure, Community radio station 2WEB in Bourke purchased the paper, and set about employing people to run it and enlisting volunteers to help with the production of the paper. Outback Radio purchased the paper and have merged the paper with the station so they share editorial resources. It's a labor of love that involves the whole community.
