
Community Radio Volunteer of the Year- People's Choice Award Finalists
The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia is celebrating this year's National Volunteer Week 2021 (17-23 May), to thank the more than 22,000 people that give their time each day to stations across the country. To celebrate these incredible volunteers the CBAA have launched the inaugural Community Radio Volunteer of the Year- People's Choice Award.
Over 90 submissions were received and from that, nine incredible finalists were choosen and announced via social media. To cast your vote go to the CBAA Facebook page and vote for your favourite candidate, voting is open until Wednesday, 19 May at 5pm AEDT.
This year's National Volunteet Week theme is 'Recognise. Reconnect.Reimagine.' To help you recognise and reconnect with your listeners and volunteers, the CBAA has developed six CSA's you can play on air, which celebrates the contribution volunteers make to our sector. These CSA's have a community raio focus, with sector volunteers sharing what volunteering means to them.

About National Volunteer Week 2021
National Volunteer Week is Australia's largest annual celebration of volunteers. From 17-23 May 2021, NVW will celebrate the significant contribution of Australia's community of nearly six million volunteers, with a program themed 'Recognise. Reconnet. Reimagine.'
