All community radio staff and volunteers are invited and will be joined by representatives from the CBAA, Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO), Indigenous Remote Communications Association (IRCA), Christian Media & Arts Australia (CMAA), National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters’ Council (NEMBC), Radio for the Print Handicapped Australia (RPHA), Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) and Australian Community Television Alliance (ACTA).

Station managers please share this with your team - the more the merrier and a great chance to catch up and build connections with people from Sydney and beyond.

The National Remote Indigenous Media Festival was held in Western Arrernte country at Ntaria (Hermannsburg) Community, Northern Territory, from 2 - 8 October 2013 and was a great success with over 180 delegates coming together from across Australia to showcase, celebrate and develop the remote Indigenous media sector.

The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) and RPH Australia (RPHA) announced their agreement to work collaboratively has been extended for another three years to 30 June 2024 to benefit the Radio Reading Network. Under the agreement extension, CBAA and RPHA will continue to be co-managed by Jon Bisset, the CBAA CEO, but will remain governed by two separate boards of directors. This will preserve the uniqueness of the Network’s programs and services
