CBAA supports the Government’s commitment to introduce the News Bargaining Incentive. We support the timely passage of the Bills to give effect to the NBI. Community broadcasters, like all Australian news publishers, need greater certainty about the long-term funding environment for news and publicinterest journalism in the multiplatform media environment. This submission explores our proposed amendments to ensure this certainty is achieved.
