The Emergency Action Alliance (EAA) has launched a national Middle East Appeal to support people affected by the escalating humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and the West Bank. The appeal brings together leading Australian aid organisations to raise funds for urgent humanitarian assistance, including food, shelter, medical care and essential supplies.
CBAA is a media partner of the EAA, alongside national media organisations including ABC, SBS, commercial television networks and major publishers. Through this partnership, community broadcasters can help share trusted information and support coordinated humanitarian appeals.
Stations that would like to promote the appeal can access campaign resources provided by the Alliance, including 15-second and 30-second audio announcements.
The Emergency Action Alliance is a coalition of major Australian aid agencies that work together to raise funds quickly when international disasters occur. By running joint appeals, the Alliance makes it easier for Australians to donate with confidence, knowing funds are distributed to experienced organisations already responding on the ground.
CBAA has previously supported the EAA's Myanmar Earthquake appeal, helping reach audiences across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.
Broadcasters who wish to support the current appeal are encouraged to use the available audio announcements below.
