Tune In and Turn Up: Connecting music and community radio at BIGSOUND 2025

Community radio plays a vital role in supporting Australian music and local voices and this September, we’re shining a spotlight on that impact at BIGSOUND 2025.

Across two days in Brisbane, amrap.org.au is presenting a series of free events celebrating the diversity, creativity and community behind the independent airwaves.

From a live national broadcast hosted by community stations across the country to hands-on artist sessions and workshops, this is a chance for artists, broadcasters and music lovers to connect, learn and celebrate what makes community radio special.
