The CBAA, supported by the Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO), runs a series of online workshops, or webinars, each year.

These webinars cover various topics of interest to community broadcasters and allow people from all over Australia to learn from experts from the comfort of their own computer workstation. Anyone with an internet connection can get involved. Best of all, the webinars are offered as a free service.

Don't miss a webinar! Sign up to our fortnightly newsletter.

What others say:

"I have been an active volunteer of 6HFM (107.3HFM Gosnells Western Australia) for 7 years. Having come originally with only Japanese experience of the media scene, I was thrilled to find that the CBAA provided free webinars which has helped incredibly to understand and pursue my interest in community radio here in Perth. Topics and content are well thought out and delivered by both professionals in the field and stations who are able to give real life examples of how things work and how they can go wrong, along with explanations of how the issues were remedied. For smaller stations with limited training and professional development budgets, these webinars are definitely a resource that should be up on the bulletin board at your station."

- Cynthia Keith, broadcaster at 107.3 HFM

"I personally value the webinars that the CBAA present.  The professional development I get from attending and participating in the webinars is exceptionally valuable in keeping current in my area of expertise (Broadcasting). It also adds to my portfolio of knowledge that enhances delivery of training in my role as CMTO Trainer/Assessor.  I encourage participation in the CBAA webinars as part of ongoing professional development in broadcasting."

- Denise Kuchmar, broadcaster and CMTO Trainer/Assessor
