The Australian Music Radio Airplay Project (Amrap) is a community radio initiative that distributes and promotes contemporary Australian music to community radio stations nationwide. Amrap helps get new Australian music airplay, and supports community radio broadcasters to promote new Australian music on air and online.

Amrap offers services for signed and unsigned Australian musicians, major and independent record labels, music business enterprises, and all Australian community radio stations and program makers.

Amrap offers services for unsigned Australian musicians, major and independent record labels and all community radio stations around Australia. Services include:

CD Mailout

Amrap distributes ‘radio ready’ CDs of new releases by signed and independent Australian musicians to community radio stations nationwide. The mailout service is targeted and cost effective, removing some of the guess-work from promotions to community radio stations.

Amrap.org.au

Amrap.org.au is community radio's Australian music catalogue and distribution service. AirIt contains Australian music from major and independent record labels and unsigned artists. AirIt is 100% free for community radio, record labels and unsigned artists.

Amrap Pages

An Amrap Page is a personalised webpage for radio programs. Program makers add program information and music playlists and Amrap Pages find & display images, info & videos to match music playlists & talks content. Listeners view Amrap Pages via the station website or Facebook. Amrap Pages generate APRA reports without needing to add composer or catalogue details

Resources

Amrap curates useful resources to help community radio attract new audiences and build more community support. Resources  include how to run a successful music open day, how to build a CD Library, how to conduct an outside broadcast and a useful guide on conducting music interviews.
