The Community Broadcasting Association is pleased to welcome you to the October 2023 content of our national suicide prevention and mental health awareness project, developed with the support of the Australian Government Department of Health.

Each month, our project team develops a series of 20 short radio segments designed to promote help-seeking behaviour and positive lifestyle choices, using interviews with service providers, as well as profiles of people who have successfully dealt with tough times in their lives.

CBAA Awards Finalists 2023 Revealed

We are excited to announce the finalists for the 2023 CBAA Community Radio Awards following a competitive campaign that saw more than 350 entries in over 30 categories. Be sure to attend the CBAA Conference on 2-4 November at Adelaide Oval to see who wins on the big night.

The CBAA thanks everyone who made a submission and provided feedback on the draft Codes of Practice at the first consultation phase of the Codes review. A new round of public consultation has opened. We invite stations, sector stakeholders and the community at large to review the revised draft Codes and provide final feedback. The consultation phase will run for four weeks between Thursday, 28 September 2023 – and Thursday, 26 October 2023.
