WEBINAR: Women in Community Broadcasting - 19 October
Community broadcasting encourages community access and participation in all aspects of station operations, from programming to management. While the community broadcasting sector prides itself on its diversity, the sector and the wider media environment demand greater representation of females, a role that community broadcasting embraces.
This session will provide an opportunity for women in community broadcasting to discuss ideas and issues of relevance to them at both a station and sector level. It will also set the agenda for the Women's Forum to be held at the 2016 CBAA Conference.
Who is this webinar for?
Women involved at all levels of community broadcasting.
Presented by:
CBAA Women's Representative Bethany Atkinson-Quinton
Bethany Atkinson-Quinton is a radio producer, presenter and creative audio maker based in Melbourne. She has worked extensively in the community broadcasting sector across SYN Media, 3RRR and PBS, and currently works on radio documentary/storytelling podcast All the Best as the state coordinator and supervising producer.
