Radio Skid Row 88.9FM is Sydney's home of activism, world, reggae, hiphop and independent music. The station is currently looking to hire a Project Coordinator and a Communications Coordinator. 

 

Project Coordinator

Radio Skid Row is looking for someone to co-ordinate their projects including the BIPOC media collective, podcast pilots and community organisation’s digital learning campaign. This key person will assist project staff and contractors to carry out their duties. They will also coordinate the writing of grants and grant reports.

Apart from leadership skills we are looking for someone who has their head around the latest developments in the media industry including video and podcast production, audience and community engagement and social media platforms.

The position is part time (approx. 15 hrs a week, $68,250 pro rata) with some weekend work required.

 

Communications Coordinator

Radio Skid Row is looking for someone to coordinate both its internal and external communications including newsletters, social media and website. The position includes working closely with other members of Radio Skid Row team to ensure that the communities know about activities and events at Radio Skid Row. You’ll have the challenge of keeping a large, diverse community of presenters engaged and active within the station.

We’re looking for someone with good writing skills, a good eye for graphic design and an ability to genuinely articulate  Radio Skid Row’s core values and priorities.
