The CBAA is seeking submissions from those interested in running a workshop at this year’s Conference being held on the in Melbourne from 24 - 27 October.

2019 Conference PromotionThe conference is the premier event on the community broadcasting calendar and the sector's largest annual gathering. Our delegates come from all over Australia to network, be inspired and build their knowledge and skills.

We invite submissions from people and organisations within and outside of the community broadcasting sector - including those in the broader media and broadcasting sectors, charities, not for profits and community organisations. 

Broadly, the conference covers topics including radio, community media, governance, not-for-profit growth and sustainability, content and programming, new media tech, broadcasting tech, and community and cultural development.

In 2019, submissions from interested speakers should focus on one of the following topics:

  • Volunteer management
  • Community-powered journalism  
  • Governance in community radio 
  • Revenue generation
  • Emerging technologies 
  • Leadership development
  • Programming for community participation, diversity and representation

Submit your proposal by 8 April. Late submissions will not be considered.
