POSITION: Casual Audio Producer, Sydney (NSW)

Radio 2RPH are looking for casual Audio Producers with audio book production experience to work off-site for the station.

Radio 2RPH aims to inform, educate and entertain New South Wales’ listeners. The radio reading service features readings from the top daily newspapers, international and Australian magazines, and books for those with print disabilities, lack of access to published material or lifestyles that limit time for reading and remaining informed.

The ability to work remotely, excellent production standards and great communicate skills who can work well with team members via email and Zoom, would all be highly valued.

A collaboration between theatre and radio is being revived with local community station, 2RPH bringing the Sydney production Little Fictions, to the airwaves.


Following an extensive recruitment process by the Board of 2RPH, the community broadcaster to people with disabilities has appointed Sancha Donald to the role of General Manager of the station.


One of the first audio books Ruth Mercer read after joining the RVIB (Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind) library some thirty years ago was Salman Rushdie’s The Satanic Verses. The postman delivered all 32 tapes to her front door and announced “It’s the Satanic Verses, love”.
