Technorama, the conference run by community radio technologists, for community radio technologists is now less than 3 weeks away.

From 22 - 24 May, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a range of sessions and activities, including the opportunity to pick the brain of the guest of honour, Van Richards-Smith.

Technorama has also announced Test-and-Tag training for the Friday afternoon (22 May). Participants will be the certification which is sufficient for you to be able to support your station and meet legal requirements.

Technologists play an important role in keeping your station running - without them, no transmitter, no studio, no radio.  Once a year, the technology community gets together to share, learn and network at Technorama - an attendance that's vitally important to the ongoing success of your station.

This year, Technorama will be held in Sydney, the first time that it's been local to the largest group of community stations in the country.   If you're within driving distance, and you've never been to a Technorama before, you need to know two things:  it's only $85 for a whole weekend of get-together, and it will be a few years before Technorama is back in Sydney.  Technorama is a national event, so if you're from further afield you should check the Technorama website for hotel, and transport information (book now to ensure availability).

Technorama is supported by the CBAA.
