International Women's Day broadcast

The theme of this year's International Women's Day is "Make it Happen". Across the country, many community stations will be marking the day with specialists talks and music broadcasts, and the Community Radio Network (CRN) is pleased to bring some of this important content together for a national audience.

Stations - give your listeners the chance to hear in-depth, expert and entertaining International Women's Day programming through our live rolling coverage on the day. There'll be features on women in radio, pregnancy, beat poetry, the issue of domestic violence, transsexual identity, and a focus on female musicians through the day, including an in-depth piece with blues singer Marlene Cummins.
