Dunkley candidate Peta Murphy swings by RPP FM

Holly Friedlander Liddicoat, 14th May 2019

Dunkley candidate Peta Murphy has told RPP FM’s Matt and Adam Show that although exhausted by the campaigning, she is genuinely honoured to be standing for the seat of Dunkley.

The Labor candidate was close to winning the seat last time – but following Electoral Commission redistribution is now considered to be the frontrunner.

Redistribution of the seat means that Dunkley is now defined by the greater City of Frankston plus Mount Eliza in Victoria.

Ms Murphy told the Matt and Adam show that she didn’t want to make any predictions but conceded that the seat may well be decided by preferences.

Before leaving Peta Murphy added her name to the Bass surfboard – which is to be auctioned at the RPP FM mid-year function. All proceeds will be going to Maddie Riewoldt's Vision Centre of Research Excellence and the Mornington Peninsula Disabled Surfers Association.

Flinders MP Greg Hunt also recently visited the RPP studios.
