2008 Conference
Many Voices - Common Ground

2008 CBAA Conference

Many Voices - Common Ground

13th - 16th November 2008

Alice Springs Convention Centre

Northern Territory

The 2008 CBAA Conference will be held in Alice Springs at the Alice Springs Convention Centre from the 13-16 November 2008.

Each year the CBAA National Conference brings together a diverse range of broadcasters to develop and strengthen the skills, knowledge and networks of the sector. The 2008 conference theme, Many Voices – Common Ground, acknowledges the sectors diversity in locations, station sizes, programming and community of interests, while recognising the similarities that exist and the need for stations to come together, both literally and conceptually.

Being located in the Northern Territory this year brings a special element to the largest event in the community broadcasting calendar, with a fantastic opportunity to tour the many attractions of the area. It will also be a great chance to focus our attention to the achievements and challenges of broadcasting within the region. The benefits delegates receive from the conference, in terms of skill development, visiting a unique location and tackling topics of interest will be well worth the distanced traveled.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Alice Springs!
