Survival Day broadcast (3CR/CRN)

Tent EmbassyEstablished on the lawns of Old Parliament House in January 1972, the embassy has been a focal point for the struggle for Aboriginal rights. Few Australian political protests can claim to have made an impact as great or as lasting as the Tent Embassy. 

3CR will be presenting live from the embassy site in Canberra from 12:00 - 16:00 EDT, featuring news, live updates, music and interviews with Indigenous activists from around the country. Presented by broadcasters Robbie Thorpe, Johnny Harding and Gilla McGuiness.

The Survival Day broadcast (Thursday 26 January) will be available nationally to stations using the Community Radio Network from 14:04 to 16:00 EDT.
