The NEMBC Conference will be held in Darwin, at the Doubletree Hilton on the Esplanade on 1-2 November.

Preceding the conference will be the NEMBC Youth Media Conference on Friday 31 October.

The theme for 2014 conference is The Challenge of Change and will examine funding for ethnic community broadcasting, proposed changes to the Racial Discrimination Act and of course the ongoing challenge of creating exciting and engaging content.

The 2013 Youth Media Conference in Brisbane was a great success last year in Brisbane and we are sure the youth will create another memorable event in Darwin.

Continuing on from this success, the 2014 event will partner with Multicultural Youth Northern Territory (MyNT) and the Multicultural Broadcasters Council of the Northern Territory (MBCNT).

Young people from culturally diverse backgrounds are invited to share their experiences and thoughts of community radio broadcasting and media, and to create national networks with fellow broadcasters and media/journalism aficionados.
