Our stations have large cd collections, has any station out there found a CD music database program that pulls the CDDB info from the internet to ease manual entry? Yes I do understand that CDDB is not always accurate but it saves a lot of typing generally.

Music databases
We use Catraxx at ArtSound FM. It doesn't rip the CDs but it has great facilities for searching and is very customisable.
Database Program
Hi Steve,
I've got a custom in house program that I've developed for my station and I'm working on developing a version that will be available to other stations, it's very community station specific, and uses freeDB the alternative to CDDB to get track info based on Album title and Artist name and is better used for Library management as it supports assigning a Catalogue no to every CD and they are then stored in the physical Library, it offers presenters a way to search by artist, etc and also allows them to find an album in the database select the track they want from a specific album add it to a playlist and then they can print the playlist and then go retireve cds and use it as a run sheet etc for on air.
It's feature packed but at this stage it's not ready for release as general software because it's buggy and not fully developed.
I've got a few other projects I'm working on at the moment, but I'll keep you posted when i finish this one.
I use
I use http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/?q=download
It also has the ability to rip in any desired name/track/artist format.
