In anticipation of the introduction of new management training available to the sector, this session will give you a taste of one of the units on offer in the course.

The Volunteer and Staff Management unit includes:
  • understanding volunteer motivations,
  • finding staff and volunteers,
  • developing recruitment policies and procedures,
  • writing position descriptions, interviewing,
  • employment legislation,
  • contracts and induction,
  • performance management, conflict management and succession planning.


This session will give people an idea about what the Volunteer and Staff Management unit covers.
