In anticipation of the introduction of new management training available to the sector, this session will give you a taste of one of the units on offer in the course.
The Volunteer and Staff Management unit includes:
- understanding volunteer motivations,
- finding staff and volunteers,
- developing recruitment policies and procedures,
- writing position descriptions, interviewing,
- employment legislation,
- contracts and induction,
- performance management, conflict management and succession planning.
