Licence Renewals
The opening plenary of the 2007 CBAA Conference featured a presentation from ACMA's Deputy Chair, Lyn Maddock on community broadcasting licence renewals. The presentation gave an overview of where the process is at, how many stations have been through it and what the outcomes were, as well as highlighting some of the difficulties experienced with the process.

Sponsorship Guideleines
In November ACMA announced that it was reviewing the Sponsorship Guidelines for Community Broadcasters. A revised draft version is now available for community broadcasters to make comment on. The guidlines, as well as general sponsorship issues were discussed at a conference session featuring ACMA staff members Phyllis Phong, Manager Investigations Section and Desa Bajic, Assistant Manager Insvestiasgations Section.
