2005 CBAA Awards
The Annual Conference of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) was held in Fremantle
|
between November 17th and 20th, with over 300 delegates gathering for three days for workshops, social events, a massive trade expo featuring the latest in broadcast technology, and the CBAA Awards.
The Conference was opened by WA Deputy Premier Eric Ripper and a Keynote address from Owen Cole, President of CAAMA who have celebrated 25 years of operation this year. Workshops and forums have covered issues like Podcasting, Digital Radio, Digital TV, and Volunteer Management, as well as offering hands on sessions in digital editing, feature production, sponsorship and grant writing. The conference also included a special showcase of Community TV programs and a separate stream for academics.
The awards night is always a highlight and this year was no exception. Here is a full list of this year's winners.
