Who is eligible?
The CBAA has three categories of membership: Full, Associate or Affiliate. Membership is open to organisations only.
If you would like to support the CBAA as an individual, you can become a Friend of the CBAA and receive CBX, the quarterly magazine of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia for only $30 (+GST) per annum.
There are many great reasons to become a member of the CBAA.
Full CBAA Membership
For incorporated associations and non-profit companies which hold a permanent community broadcasting licence under the Broadcasting Services Act and operate as a community broadcaster.
AGM voting status: 2 votes.
Associate CBAA Membership
For incorporated associations and non-profit companies that aspire to hold a permanent community broadcasting licence (e.g. Temporary Community Broadcasting Licensees - TCBL's).
AGM voting status: 1 vote.
Affiliate CBAA Membership
For unincorporated associations that aspire to hold a community broadcasting licence and for like-minded organisations that wish to support the community broadcasting sector.
No AGM voting status.
CBAA Membership Fees

| Associate | $250 (+GST) for the first year and $275 (+GST) for second and subsequent years until permanent |
| Affiliate | $250 (+GST) per annum |
Annual membership fees are based on the financial year calendar.
Full members may pay the annual fee on an annual, quarterly or monthly basis. Other members may pay on an annual basis only.
Full members joining during the financial year are charged on a quarterly pro-rata basis and receive a 5% discount when fees are paid in advance for the financial year (payable in July of each year).
Associate members joining after 1 January are charged 50% of the annual fee.
